About Steamnotes.com
I have quite a few games on Steam. As a game designer it's always been my goal to play every game in my library for at least 30 minutes, so that I can analyze them and remember things I liked or didn't like.
Problem: After a few hundred games, I can't remember playing half the games steam says I've played. So I started trying to write down notes in Steam, but they never added a notes feature. Sure I can 'review' the game or make a community post, but I don't want my notes public, and I don't want risk writing something against their 'anti abuse' policy when it was just meant for myself. I also have no quick way to look the review up.
I considered a spreadsheet, but let's be honest, I'd never update it with all the new games I get every month. So after years of waiting for Steam to create something I gave up and created Steamnotes.com. It a super simple site that just shows a list of your games on Steam, along with notes and an optional game score you create. It also shows your total play time with some quick color coding so you can decide which games you still need to play without going through each one on Steam. (red = never played, orange < 15 minutes, yellow < 30 minutes, blue < 1 hr, green > 1 hr)
